How to Get the Best Results with Tanrevel®

Exfoliate Your Skin Before Use

We recommend exfoliating your skin 24 hours before applying Tanrevel®. Since DHA (the active ingredient in self-tanners) binds to dead skin cells, we want the right amount—neither too much nor too little. Therefore, exfoliate your skin 24 hours in advance for the best results.

Use the Right Skincare Products

Oil-based products create a barrier on the skin that makes it harder for the color to adhere. Ensure your exfoliator does not contain oil and that it removes any residue from other oil-based products on your skin.

Make Sure Your Tanrevel® Pro is Charged

Low battery levels can reduce the pressure in your spray-tan device. It takes about two hours to charge a depleted Tanrevel® Pro.

Apply at the Correct Distance

Spray with your Tanrevel® Pro at a distance of about 30-40 cm. If you're further away, the color may not adhere well, and if you're closer, the result may become uneven.

Spray Slowly

Spray for about 15-20 seconds with slow movements.

Use the Right Amount of Formula

For the first use, we recommend spraying for about 15-20 seconds. With Spray-Tan Formula Dark Cool and Warm, you see immediate results. With Spray-Tan Formula Clear, which is transparent, you won’t see an immediate effect. Apply layers based on how tan you want to be. All spray-tan formulas develop gradually, reaching full effect within 6 hours.

Wait Before Applying Other Skincare Products and Makeup

Wait at least 2 hours after applying Tanrevel® before applying other skincare products or makeup. The longer you wait to apply skincare, the better the results. Our spray-tan formulas are enriched with nourishing and moisturizing ingredients such as almond and argan oil, aloe vera, and glycerin, so your skin doesn’t dry out.

Clean Your Device After Each Use

Tanrevel® Pro needs to be cleaned after each use to ensure the device provides perfect results. Remove the application head from the body, fill the tank with warm tap water, reattach the application head, and spray out the tap water. Spraying out tap water from the device prevents DHA (the sugar molecule that is the active ingredient in self-tanners) from clogging the nozzle. After cleaning your Tanrevel® Pro, store it without liquid in the container and in an upright position.
